Kuo Shiang Lee has been the chairman of the Taiwan operations of skin care and cosmetics giant Shiseido since 1999. Born in 1956, Lee’s father is Li Jinzhi, the founder of Shiseido Taiwan. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Chicago, Lee worked for Quaker in the United States as a member of its international marketing staff.

Armed with global experience, he returned to Taiwan and started working at Shiseido. In 2017, under Lee’s leadership, Shiseido had cornered 25 per cent of the Taiwan market with 172 counters in department stores, most of them in Taipei City.
