Fossil-fuel entrepreneur Kiki Barki launched his company Harum Energy in 1995. Today, Harum holds investments in logistics and mining in Indonesia, and is run by his son Lawrence Barki, who sits as its President Commissioner.
In 2010, the company was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Recently, Barki’s business also expanded by acquiring a share of foreign nickel companies. He also holds shares indirectly in PT Lotus Coalindo Marine, Harum Energy Australia Ltd and Harum Energy Capital Ltd.
Barki graduated with an engineering degree from Beijing University, and aims to push forward trading relations between China and Indonesia.
