The eco-entrepreneur is transforming coconut waste into sustainable logistics products
Kiel Flores’ company CocoPallet International is advancing the circular economy ingeniously by turning an abundant agricultural waste product, coconut husks, into durable, 100 per cent bio-based shipping pallets. With a design that saves 70 per cent of shipping and storage space, they provide an eco-friendly alternative to wood. Kiel secured a key partnership with Santa Fe Relocation in 2024 and is spearheading plans for a Philippine factory by 2026.
