Kevin Hu, son of Benny Hu, the former chairman of China Development Industrial Bank, is a graduate from the Department of Applied Mathematics at National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan and holds a master's degree in financial mathematics from Columbia University in the US. Kevin previously worked in the financial industry on Wall Street in New York, but was always passionate about entrepreneurship and went on to found JKOS Trading Company in China to sell Taiwanese products to China. In 2015, seeing an opportunity with the future trend of mobile payment, he decided to set up JKOS Network CO., LTD in Taiwan and launched the app JKOPAY in the same year. In less than two years, the app had been well received and was being widely used by young consumers. In 2018, JKOPAY achieved connection with 22 e-commerce platforms through his active deployment of online shopping channels and is expected to complete payment services for four e-commerce platforms including momo in the first quarter of 2019 so as to build a sound JKOPAY ecosystem.
