Inspired by his own volunteering experience in the Philippines, Kevin Chen started Empowering Lives through Innovative Volunteerism (ELIV), one of Taiwan’s first social enterprises, to promote international volunteerism in a sustainable, transparent and systemised manner. ELIV has since expanded to Hong Kong, and received a social enterprise star award in 2019.
