At 24, Kent Chua left behind a promising career with one of the Big Four accounting firms to open The Beer Factory. That was in 2010.

Today, Chua manages, through his company Rhombus Connexion, 10 brands and operates 32 outlets across the region, including Rama V, Dancing Fish, Suzie Wong, and The Rabbit Hole—all of which have garnered numerous awards and recognition in the hospitality industry.

Under his leadership, Rhombus Connexion saw its sales increase by over RM45 million in its first five years. The pandemic was challenging but somehow he successfully steered the company out of the crisis and even emerged with more outlets than before.

Chua is also passionate about educating and coaching other young entrepreneurs in Malaysia.
