With over 25 years of real estate investment experience, Kenneth Gaw is the co-founder, president and managing principal of Gaw Capital Partners, which was established in 2005 and which he runs with his sister Christina and brother Goodwin. The company has more than US$33 billion of assets under management, which includes its own founding family’s fortune, established by the siblings’ father, property investor Anthon Gaw. In recent years it has also become a major proptech investor.

Additionally, Kenneth Gaw is the managing director of conglomerate Pioneer Global Group, also established by his father; his mother, Rossana Wang Gaw, is the company’s chairman. Kenneth Gaw first joined the company in 1994, taking over the top role in 1999, and also owns a minority stake in it. He has overseen projects at Pioneer Global including its acquisition of the Pullman Hotel G properties in Pattaya and Bangkok; AIA Tower in Macau; and Global Gateway, 68 Yee Wo Street, the Club Lusitano Building and Kowloon City Plaza in Hong Kong.

Born in Bangkok and raised in Hong Kong, Gaw started his career working at Goldman Sachs in New York. A director of the Hong Kong Thailand Business Council, he was also formerly a director of Thai hotel company Dusit Thani, Chinese budget hotel operator Home Inns, Hong Kong shipping company Wah Kwong and Thai food manufacturer and exporter Siam Food. He was given an Outstanding Entrepreneur award by Capital Entrepreneur magazine in 2017.

He is married to Patricia, with whom he has three sons.
