Ken Ratri Iswari

Ken Ratri Iswari is gunning to be the future Minister of Manpower. Certainly, her trailblazing body of work is indicative of her boundless capabilities and a testament to her tireless work ethic. Ken received her bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the School of Business and Management Bandung Institute of Technology and graduated from the institution with cum laude distinction. She became an Account Manager in P&G and Recruiter in Shell, before she joined a start-up incubator, Contenga International (now Liv.it) as Human Capital Manager. In 2013, she established Geekhunter, Indonesia’s prominent IT recruitment consultancy with a database of over 38k programmers. At the same time, she was a SBM ITB lecturer from 2013 – 2015, contributing to the curriculum, academic research and department development. In 2017, Ken became the Bandung Director of Startup Grind, an independent global start-up community that connects 400,000 founders in 220 cities. In the same year, she took on an advisory role at FemaleGeek, which aims to encourage more female coders. They are now in 12 cities and plan to keep expanding. The prolific award-winning mentor has featured in various media and been invited to speak at various international events such as TechinAsia 2015 – 2018.
