Karlo Nograles

Cabinet Secretary, Republic of the Philippines

Karlo Nograles actively serves the nation as both Cabinet Secretary and the acting spokesperson of President Rodrigo Duterte while also holding the co-chair position of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Serving the public is no easy task, yet Karlo Nograles continuously strives to carry out his tasks as the Republic of the Philippines’ Cabinet Secretary. He began his political career as his father, former member of the House of Representatives Prospero Nograles’ Chief of Staff. Nograles was also a member of the Philippine House of Representatives from Davao City’s First District.

The lawyer also authored the Green Jobs Act, the JobStart Philippines Act, and Republic Act No 10741 which all champion employees in hopes of contributing to the betterment of their welfare.
