Karen Jane Salutan-Krukover

Karen Jane Salutan-Krukover’s EdukSine is a hybrid streaming platform focused on educational and socially relevant independent films. She established the company after realising that people living in rural areas have limited access to theatres and film, and it provides livelihoods to producers, directors and actors. The films feature Filipino sign language so they are accessible to the deaf community. EdukSine has organised more than 350 block screenings, often collaborating with government entities and international embassies.
