Karen Batungbacal

She is the former Executive General Manager at QBE Group Shared Services Centre, where she grew the Manila and Cebu offices from zero to over 2,800 employees. She is also co-founder and Senior Advisor of the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), which she helped establish to promote the Philippines as a global BPO destination. As a co-founder and senior advisor of IBPAP, she has been instrumental in shaping policies that support gender diversity and equal opportunities in the Philippine IT-BPM sector, helping ensure that women have a strong voice in industry development and government dialogue.
