Kantaphong (Pyong) Thongrong

Dr. Kantaphong Thongrong, known as Dr. Pyong, is a specialist in rehabilitation medicine and the founder of PYONG Rehabilitation Center Ratchaprasong, a premium rehabilitation medicine centre specialising in chronic pain, neurological rehabilitation and comprehensive proactive healthcare. He integrates advanced technologies, from rehabilitation robotics and body-weight-supported gait training to non-invasive therapies, into a systematic approach to patient care. In 2025, he was named Business Role Model of the Year by the Foundation of Science and Technology Council of Thailand. He also founded PYONG SUMMIT, a platform dedicated to advancing knowledge in public health and longevity, with the aim of moving Thai rehabilitation medicine beyond treatment towards the sustainable design of better quality of life.
