Dato’ Kamarul A Muhamed is the visionary behind Aerodyne Group, the world’s leading DT3 (Drone Tech, Data Tech and Digital Transformation) enterprise solutions provider. Kamarul left the corporate world to establish Aerodyne in 2014, first specialising in drone aerial imagery before moving on to DT3 and incorporating artificial intelligence to enhance its processes.

Today, Aerodyne has grown operations across 35 countries, with 1,000 employees (300 of which are AI engineers and data scientists), serving clients in sectors like oil and gas, telecoms, renewables and construction. Kamarul remains especially passionate about transforming the logistics, agriculture and critical infrastructure industries, eager to advance food and energy security through next generation AI, drone and data solutions.

Beyond his entrepreneurial success, Kamarul is passionate about building an ecosystem and nurturing future talent. He is a Professor of Practice at Putra Business School and holds adjunct professorships at UPM, UIAS and UMPSA. As an influential figure, he has spoken at TEDx and other renowned events around the world about AI, drones and Industry 4.0.

His ongoing projects reflect his commitment to technological innovation, including the development of the DRONOS Superplatform, aimed at democratising AI solutions, and Industrial LLM, a generative AI solution designed to automate business operations through software bots.
