Kallula’s style has never been about following a fixed formula. Over more than a decade in the creative industry, her wardrobe has evolved alongside her—from the monochrome, tomboy sensibility of her early years to a more considered approach that embraces colour, texture and unexpected details. Her time in London became a turning point. The city’s expressive street style and changing seasons pushed her to think beyond aesthetics, searching for pieces that could be both functional and interesting. Today, she is more mindful about what enters her wardrobe, investing in exceptional outerwear, statement shoes and pieces she knows will endure. Her approach to fashion has become less about accumulation and more about intention.

“I’m more mindful now,” she reflects, while admitting that the pull of experimentation remains. “Sometimes taking risks is also fun. So, still, don’t forget to take the risks.”

That philosophy can be seen in her evolving relationship with colour. Once known almost exclusively for black, khaki and monochrome, Kallula now welcomes shades of blue, patterns and texture into the mix. Even a striking pair of blue boots can become a point of departure, proof that her style is still willing to surprise her.

Hair has always been another arena for reinvention. From childhood pixie cuts and micro bangs to bleaching, bold colour experiments and her signature bob, Kallula has never treated hair as static. “I’ve never seen hair as something fixed; it’s another way to experiment with identity and style,” explains Kallula. Her naturally wavy hair now receives a keratin treatment to keep styling effortless, allowing her to shape it without excessive heat or fuss.

For Kallula, being anything but ordinary is not about owning the most extravagant piece. It is about making choices with purpose—and leaving room for the unexpected. Her ultimate rule is refreshingly practical: if she wears something more than five times, it has earned its place. In a culture of constant consumption, that might be her boldest statement yet.
