Lo Ka-shui is the chairman and managing director of Great Eagle Holdings, the giant property and hospitality company established by his father, Lo Ying Shek, that includes the global Langham group of hotels. A member of the board since 1980, Lo Ka-shui is also chairman of the publicly listed trusts Champion REIT and Langham Hospitality Investments, in the property and hospitality sectors respectively.

A vice president of the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong and a trustee of the Hong Kong Centre for Economic Research, Lo is a former chairman of the Hospital Authority and of the Main Board Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He has also been a non-executive director of companies including HSBC, Shanghai Industrial Holdings, Phoenix Satellite Television and China Mobile.

A noted philanthropist, Lo Ka-shui is married to Feili and has four children, including Katherine and Alexander, who both work for the family business. He is also the brother of Vincent Lo, who founded his own property dynasty with Shui On.
