Julia Tan is an advisor to DoctorShare, an Indonesian non-profit that works tirelessly to fly, drive or sail doctors to rural areas, particularly where maternal and infant mortality is high. She also founded The Fountain Wellness to provide dignified employment to women from vulnerable backgrounds. The result is a boutique wellness spa where guests come for rest and rejuvenation, and women find a much-needed path out of poverty.
