Founder and chairman, Test Rite

Test Rite founder and chairman Judy Lee is proof that you make your own opportunities

“You can’t choose your origins, but you can change your destiny”, and Test Rite founder and chairman Judy Lee knows this to be true. Back in the 1960s, Lee was one of the few people from her village who had the opportunity to go to a university. And she didn't stop there—when she found that opportunities after graduation were scarce, she went ahead and started her own trading company, Qiuju Trading, in 1974 with just five employees. Four years later, the expanding company changed its name to Test-Rite International. Today, the company has grown into an empire with over six thousand employees, supplying retailers worldwide through offices in ten countries. It is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Focused on the retail and home industries, the company has withstood many ups and downs in the economy to remain a constant presence in Taiwan. The firm has successfully ventured into home retail, e-commerce and even into construction management, logistics and warehousing services, providing all-around solutions for all home improvement and construction concerns.

Lee is currently the chairman and CEO for corporate governance and risk control of Test-Rite International, while her husband, Tony Ho Tang-Hsiung, is the CEO for strategy and business development.
