As executive director of HER Fund, Judy Kan provides financial grants and capacity building to grassroots and marginalised communities in key areas such as financial management, leadership and digital security to address critical issues such as poverty, gender-based violence, and discrimination. These grantees are led by, and serve, groups of women who are disadvantaged by race, economic status, and sexual orientation and gender. She equips Hong Kong’s most vulnerable women with skills and resources to make long-term change. Last year, HER Fund enabled 22 organisations to initiate 28 projects on critical issues to women’s equity and advancement.
