Every day, Carlo is in pursuit of the great things in life – beauty, inspiration, fun. After studying sculpture, light design, and painting at the California College of Arts and Crafts (2003), and architecture at the Architecture Association of London (2009), Carlo established Carlo Calma Consultancy, primed to reshape and reimagine the landscape of Manila. He is also a consultant at Multi Development and Construction Corporation. Carlo may be an architect, but his work transcends his occupation. The most exciting thing to watch out for with Carlo is when his passion and profession meet at the zenith of his vision. Now, he has Manifesto Gallerie, Vask (owned by Chele Gonzalez, another Gen. T listee), ArroZeria, and a number of homes and buildings to his name – all bewitching spaces, inspiring conversation and movement, expressing creativity and existence. Additionally, he has exhibited his visual art work locally and internationally, in both solo and group exhibitions, including 2014’s Golden Horse Perforations, Philippines.
