Badminton phenom Jonatan Christie turned down movie roles to focus on training, paused his career to care for his Covid-afflicted brother, and is active in funding everything from education to clean water projects. He won the 2018 Asian Games and the 2023 Indonesia Masters, and was ranked number two at one point in 2023 by the Badminton World Federation—his highest ranking yet.
