Johnathan Hanh Nguyen

Johnathan Hanh Nguyen is the founder and Chairman of the Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPP Group). Before becoming an entrepreneur, he worked in the financial industry abroad and then contributed to paving the way for many international trade activities in Vietnam, including the initial opening of commercial flights in the region. He is known for his role in bringing a series of international brands to Vietnam and developing a multi-industry business ecosystem including retail, duty-free, hotels and real estate.

During his career, he has received many national and international recognitions. In early 2024, The Moodie Davitt Report honored him as one of the “Persons of the Year”, recognizing his contributions to the tourism, retail and airport development industries in Vietnam.

The year 2025 marked IPPG’s solid achievements under his leadership. Specifically, in August 2025, the group was honored by HR Asia with the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025” and DEI awards. These two awards are recognition of IPPG’s tireless efforts in building an ideal working environment, promoting diversity, equity and inclusion.

In addition to his role as a business executive, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen also actively participates in important economic forums and business networking activities. In 2025, he was honored in programs honoring outstanding domestic entrepreneurs, and continued to contribute to promoting trade cooperation between Vietnam and international partners.
