Joelle Pang’s company is providing better opportunities for Malaysia’s gig workers. FastGig, which also operates in Singapore, aims to revolutionise the traditional employment model for freelancers and part-time workers. It allows people to work flexibly, with no commitment, while also helping to fulfil the operational needs of businesses facing a hiring crunch. Its corporate clients include Aeon, Lotus’s and Wing Tai. FastGig is owned by Singapore-headquartered FastCo, which also runs blue-collar job platform FastJobs.
