William Joy

Born and raised in Shanghai, William Joy emigrated to Canada with his parents when he was a teenager, completing his studies in the US. He then received investment from Harvard Veritas Venture and started his own business. He set up Video++ in Shanghai in October 2014, a bellwether in the AI+ cultural recreation industry, which provides AI video advertising, recreational e-commerce, interactive entertainment, new IP content production and host brokerage to MCN institutions. Video++ has recently completed financing of RMB349 million led by Alibaba, Yunfeng Capital and Face++ Megvii Technology and followed by SDIC and Toutoushidao.
