Founder of JJP Architects & Planners

Ji Pan, the founder of JJP Architects & Planners, is the first Taiwanese architect to be honored as a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA) and has received Taiwan's highest cultural honor, the National Award for Arts. A graduate of the Department of Architecture at National Cheng Kung University, Pan furthered his studies at the Rice School of Architecture in the United States. Influenced by contemporary architectural design and a philosophy of social concern, he returned to Taiwan to establish JJP Architects & Planners. Drawing inspiration from Confucian principles in Chinese culture, the firm is dedicated to the practice and promotion of architecture that celebrates humanity and the environment, guided by the design philosophy of "human-centric," aiming to make the world a better place through the cultivation of design.

Valuing the harmonious relationship between people and the environment, his architectural works are diverse and encompass various sectors, including technology, cultural and creative education, leisure and recreation, and sustainable green energy. Even in the design of technological facilities, he considers the well-being of those working within, demonstrating a strong commitment to humanistic care. Throughout his career, Pan has consistently adhered to the human-centric design principle, stating, "Architecture is created for people, and the architect's responsibility is to help create a good environment and space for people!"
