Malaysia is a diverse country, but not all of its ethnic and religious groups enjoy the same privileges, and prejudice can still be a problem. Jason Wee’s organisation Architects of Diversity Malaysia aims to improve this. It promotes racial and religious inclusivity and understanding by encouraging debate and exchange between young people from different backgrounds. It also trains educators to become champions of diversity and provides accompanying teaching materials.
