The brain behind Jwo Holdings, which owns 2am:dessertbar and 2am:lab, Janice Wong is best known for the edible art installations she created for major events such as World on a Plate 2017, India’s largest international food festival, where she also served as a judge in its Restaurant of the Year category. In late 2017, the Le Cordon Bleu Paris-trained chef is opening a chocolate restaurant in Macau’s MGM Cotai, her fifth restaurant to date that is also expected to be Asia’s largest chocolate and dessert space. Wong hopes to continue challenging people’s perceptions about desserts—“It’s so much more than cake and ice cream”—and let them see how far their imagination can take them.When she has the time, Wong indulges in her love for diving.
