Janet Chia

In June 2021, there was huge demand for high-flow nasal cannula machines in Taiwanese hospitals—these machines are used to provide respiratory support to severely ill patients who otherwise have difficulty in breathing. Actress, host, and founder of wedding-dress company C.H Wedding Janet Chia stepped up to the plate to help obtain these machines by starting a fundraiser. With the help of her friends, Chia was able to raise funds and acquire over three hundred of these high-flow nasal cannula machines. Around the same time, Chia provided 100 meals and drinks for healthcare workers in New Taipei City Hospital.
