Jane Zhao

Jane Zhao’s interest in sustainability turned into an urgent desire for action after her second child was born. Having worked in the textile industry for a decade, she saw an opportunity to repurpose plastic waste and launched Goodcycle, formerly P.E.T. or Plastic Ecological Transformation, which makes a range of products, from bags to scarves, using recycled P.E.T.—a type of plastic—from bottles. It also uses blockchain to provide transparency on the sources of its materials.
