Jamie Huang graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in the UK in 2012, majoring in oil painting and sculpture. She went on to intern under fashion prodigies Alexander McQueen and Christopher Kane. In 2013, she was named amongst the top 5 Designers For Tomorrow at Berlin Fashion Week in Germany. Encouraged by judge Stella McCartney, she built her personal brand Jamie Wei Huang in the same year and won the ELLE Talent Award. She was even shortlisted for the Vogue Italy Talent Award the following year. Jamie's Spring/Summer 2014 Collection was handpicked by Lady GaGa, making her famous all over the world. Jamie has resided in the UK for many years, and she has been invited to participate in the official exhibition of the British Fashion Council at London Fashion Week with her works every year. Her pieces have been sold in more than 30 countries around the world. In June this year, Jamie was invited by British independent showcase Fashion Scout as a jury member in the final of the Superdry Awards jointly launched by Graduate Fashion Week and British brand Superdry. The Jamie Wei Huang Spring/Summer 2019 Collection was shown at London Fashion Week in 2018.
