A strategic leader, Jacqueline Poh is chief executive officer of Jurong Town Corporation
Jacqueline Poh is no stranger to the tech industry and start-up ecosystem. Having held key roles in strategy and digital transformation across the public sector, she was appointed Managing Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) in October 2021.
As chief executive officer of Jurong Town Corporation, she now spearheads Singapore’s industrial development—a position she has held since April 1, 2025.
Poh has led initiatives to enhance Singapore’s position as a global centre for business, innovation and talent, so as to attract and anchor investments that create vibrant businesses here and good job opportunities for Singaporeans. These have included investments in advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, digital industry, AI, healthcare and biopharma, as well as sustainable products and services. She also supported the development of venture-building through EDB’s Corporate Venture Launchpad and programs to help global founders settling in Singapore.
She was previously Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office Strategy Group and the founding Chief Executive of the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech) and MD of the Infocomm Development Agency which conceptualised Singapore’s efforts to be a Smart Nation.
She currently sits on the Boards of EDB Investments, SingHealth, the Singapore Institute of Technology and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research. She is the Chairperson of the DesignSingapore Advisory Board and a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation.
Poh was most recently honoured for strengthening Norway-Singapore business ties, a key testament to her influence in global commerce.

During her time at IDA, Poh championed the development of the Digital Inclusion Fund to provide the needy, elderly and disadvantaged in the community affordable access to computers, broadband services and assistive technology.
