Having previously run eight different restaurants, experimenting with a variety of cuisines, Jack Yap pivoted to creating plant-based food with his company Phuture. It makes products including plant-based chicken, mince and burgers—among the world’s first to be halal-certified—that are more nutritious than the equivalent meat product and partners with chain restaurants and hotel groups.
