Iwan is busying himself expanding Modalku, a peer-to-peer lending and credit platform that caters to small businesses in Southeast Asia. Funded by venture capital group Alpha JWC, Modalku is expected to become one of Indonesia’s next unicorns. In 2019, it partnered with online marketplace Bukalapak to launch new e-commerce lending facilities.
