Issa Barte
Co-founder, For the Future
For improving both the Philippines’ environment and the lives of marginalised people
Artist Issa Barte formed her non-profit For the Future to mobilise young people to work for people and planet alike. The youth-run organisation has tackled reforestation and also established the Climate Emergency and Typhoon Fund with the fellow youth-led empowerment organisation Kids for Kids, providing everything from solar lights to water filters to people affected by typhoons.
