Short documentary The Game Changer, which Indrani made while pursuing her master’s in Fine Arts at Hofstra University in New York, profiled pioneering choreographer Susan Slotnick, who taught dance to the inmates at the Woodbourne Correctional Facility in New York. Last year Indrani premiered the continuation of the film, Incarcerated Rhythm, which premiered at the 13th Annual Harlem International Film Festival 2018 and won her the Mira Nair Award for Rising Female Filmmaker.
