Co-founder and COO, Ruangguru
Iman Usman spent most of his twenties becoming a key opinion leader for young Indonesians and recognised globally for his efforts in organising some of the country’s leading movements. These included the Indonesian Future Leaders and the Indonesian Youth Parliament, which mobilised thousands of young Indonesians to do social good. He is also known as the ASEAN Youth Ambassador to Indonesia. Today, Usman is the co-founder and COO of Ruangguru. One of the biggest education startup companies in South East Asia, Ruangguru focuses on helping students with private tutoring, class videos and exams prep. He has a master’s degree from Columbia University and now studying for another at Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Moreover, Usman is part of the 2021 Cheng Fellow in Social Innovation + Change Initiative (SICI) at Harvard Kennedy School.
