An aspiring futurologist and artist under the moniker of “Izealist”, Ihsan Zolkipli is one of the pioneering co-founders of NFXT, a platform that provides local artists and projects with the tools to get started in the metaverse, particularly the creation of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

After his ten-year stint in web development, Ihsan pivoted towards an entirely new venture, one that focuses on the development of humankind: futurology. In 2018, he joined Hidity Lab and was part of the project developing team during Urbanscape 2018; his concepts were used to envision Kuala Lumpur’s possible futures in Re:Imagine Kuala Lumpur. Recently, not only was he one of the keynote speakers on the Future of Arts and Crafts at the Sukaseni Youth of Craft Asia 2022, but he was also involved in the successful launch of “m1nted”, Malaysia’s first NFT conference by The Livescape Group, a creative independent experience and business incubator based in Southeast Asia founded by Iqbal Ameer.

He began his own artistic endeavours in early 2021, incorporating his infographic memes into esoteric artwork. Since then, he has exhibited his pieces in the Maybank Digital Art Gallery and Crypto Art Week Asia Virtual Galleries and was part of a group exhibition hosted by Red Hong Yi at The Back Room KL titled 1000 Tiny Artworks. He has also formed a three-man art collective called “Temework”, wanting to further expand on the NFT medium and create thought-provoking artwork.

To date, Ihsan is working with NFT Malaysia, a local NFT hub and marketplace that elevates local NFT artists as well as projects.
