Horst Geicke is the Chairman, CEO, and Investor of Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, in partnership with the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany. He served as the Founding Chairman and a Board Member of the Hong Kong – Vietnam Chamber of Commerce from 2005 to 2018, and has been a Board Member of the German Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong since 1995.

Previously, he held numerous leadership positions in the investment and fund management sector, including Board Member and Co-owner of the Sofitel Metropole Legend Hanoi Hotel, Founder and Chairman of VinaCapital, Chairman of Vinaland, and Chairman of the Vietnam Opportunity Fund, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Since 2019, he has been the Vice Chairman of the German Business Association in Vietnam and the Chairman of the School Board of the German International School in Ho Chi Minh City.

With over 25 years of investment experience in Vietnam and China, Horst Geicke continues to demonstrate his strategic vision by focusing on early-stage investment funds, aimed at supporting startups in their expansion process. He believes that nurturing promising businesses from their early stages will create a solid foundation for the long-term development of Vietnam's economy.
