Chairman of Techcombank
One of the most influential figures in Vietnam’s private banking sector
Ho Hung Anh holds a degree in electrical engineering from Kiev Polytechnic University, Ukraine, and a master’s in human resource management from Moscow State University of Road Transport (MADI) in Russia. In 2005, he returned to Vietnam and joined the Board of Directors at Techcombank. Three years later, he was appointed Chairman.
Under his leadership, Techcombank has adapted to market fluctuations and cemented its position as one of Vietnam’s leading private banks. It has also pioneered digital transformation in the sector, with its innovative “zero-fee” strategy offering free electronic transfers to customers.
Beyond his role at Techcombank, Ho Hung Anh is a key figure at Masan Group, working alongside Nguyen Dang Quang. He has amassed an impressive fortune and regularly appears on Vietnam’s billionaire rankings.
