Venture capitalist with a keen eye for entrepreneurship

As the co-founder of Openspace, Hian Goh played a pivotal role in helping to turn it into one of the region’s leading venture capital firms since it was launched in 2014. He led the first institutional fundraising round for Gojek and now represents the firm on the Boards of some of the firm’s fastest-growing investments.

Goh has extensive entrepreneurial experience. He founded and built Asian Food Channel, a 24-hour pay TV channel that was sold to US media giant Scripps Interactive in April 2013.

He sits on the A*Star portfolio management committee and was previously on the board of the Singapore Science Centre. He is also a co-host of the podcast, Unreasonable, alongside two fellow venture capitalists based in Asia. In this podcast, they discuss the “unreasonable things that move the world”—from economics to politics.

Goh is a Kauffman Fellow and holds a Master of Business Administration from Insead Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Trinity College, Oxford.
