Through Komunal, Hendry Lieviant is bringing banking services to Indonesia’s many underbanked rural areas. The company partners with 250-plus rural banks, providing digital services for local people and peer-to-peer lending for MSMEs in second- and third-tier cities. It has facilitated $390 million of loans and deposits, impacting more than 20,000 companies.
