Hao Liang was the youngest artist at the Venice Biennale’s central exhibition in 2017, where he garnered the international spotlight for his ink wash-based paintings. His works have been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Pompidou Centre in Paris, and have sold for up to US$2 million at major auction houses such as Sotheby’s and Christie’s.
