Hann Yeoh

Yeoh Keong Hann, widely known as Hann Yeoh, is a third-generation leader of the YTL Group and executive director of YTL Power International Berhad, one of Asia’s largest infrastructure and utilities companies. He spearheads YTL Power’s infrastructure and digital ventures, from next-generation data centres to fintech innovation.

In 2022, YTL Power and partner Sea Ltd secured one of Malaysia’s five digital banking licences—a milestone that culminated in the launch of Ryt Bank in 2025. As the world’s first AI-powered bank, Ryt Bank is a landmark achievement and a testament to Yeoh’s belief in the transformative potential of artificial intelligence. To build it, he actively sought out and brought home some of Malaysia’s brightest talents from around the world, ensuring that the bank reflected both world-class innovation and local cultural relevance. Under his vision, Ryt Bank uses AI to automate transactions, strengthen security, and deliver personalised, culturally attuned experiences for Malaysians.

Beyond digital banking, Yeoh drives flagship projects such as the solar-powered YTL Green Data Center Park in Johor and a 100MW AI Data Centre with Nvidia, accelerating AI computing across the region. He also sits on the boards of Wessex Water in the UK and YTL PowerSeraya in Singapore.

An Oxford graduate and Gibbs Prize recipient, Yeoh was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2022 and appointed as a permanent member of ABAC Malaysia in 2024. As a founding partner of AC Ventures Malaysia and the US$50 million SEA Frontier Fund, he continues to back transformative technologies shaping Southeast Asia’s future.
