Atelier Guo is known for juxtaposing unique structures and buildings with natural landscapes. The studio’s founder,Guo Liaohui, often draws inspiration from local culture in order to connect his designs to the land where they stand. Before establishing his own architectural firm, Liaohui lived in Europe, where he honed his skills at Atelier Peter Zumthor and Partners, Caruso St John Architects and Francesca Torzo Architetto.
