Actor
The Rebels | Former child star Atthaphan “Gun” Phunsawat has risen to become one of Thai showbiz’s best—as well as the scene’s style leader
Atthaphan Phunsawat, also known as Gun (กัน), is a Thai actor and host best known for his roles in films like The Gifted (2018), Theory of Love (2019), and Not Me (2021–2022). He began his career in the entertainment industry at a young age, gaining recognition after winning the Boy Model Competition in 2003 and subsequently landing his first lead role in the 2004 series Gomin. Throughout his career, he has received several awards, including Best Supporting Actor at the 7th Chalerm Thai Awards and Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the 24th Asian Television Awards for his performances.
In addition to acting, Gun is an entrepreneur, owning a clothing brand called Gente and co-owning another brand called Too Cute To Be Cool. He is also involved in the café business with a venture named Last House on the Right.
Gun has significant following on social media, where he shares, among other things, his fashion choices, which he describes as “not a fixed style”. He has an affinity for colours and patterns—“the more the better”—and shies away from the safety of black and white items.
“My style depends on my mood and what I'm into at the moment, for example low-rise pants, midi tops, vests or shorts...I always have fun dressing up.”
