Gobind Singh Deo, a well-known lawyer and politician from Malaysia, has been the Minister of Digital in Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s government since December 2023. He is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Damansara, having been elected in November 2022, and prior to that he was MP for Puchong since 2008.

Previously, Gobind served as the Minister of Communications and Multimedia from May 2018 to February 2020 during the Pakatan Harapan administration. As a member and National Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), Gobind has played a vital role in Malaysian politics, particularly in advocating for digital transformation and communication reforms.

Gobind has made significant strides in advancing Malaysia’s digital landscape. Additionally, Gobind has emphasised the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives and cybersecurity advancements. His efforts aim to equip businesses with digital tools and technologies, facilitating Malaysia’s transition into a more competitive player in the global market.
