Ge You

Ge You stands as one of China's most critically acclaimed performers. His career breakthrough came with The Troubleshooters (1988), which earned him a Golden Rooster Award nomination.

He made history in 1994 when he became the first Asian actor to win the Cannes Best Actor Award for his performance in Zhang Yimou’s To Live.

His impressive filmography spans decades, including acclaimed works like Farewell, My Concubine (1993), Big Shot's Funeral (2001), Cell Phone (2003) and The Banquet (2006). His successful collaboration with director Feng Xiaogang since 1997 has produced numerous hits, including the If You Are the One film series.
