Garvy Beh

Founder and CEO, Doctor2U

A savant in the tech industry and a professional polo player, Garvy Beh is the founder of the nation’s first integrative healthcare app, Doctor2U, which provides on-demand services across Malaysia and Singapore

A chip off the old block, the youngest son of the group’s founder and president Dato’ Beh Chun Chuan was always a keen study when it came to entrepreneurship. Soon after graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree, Garvy Beh’s first entrepreneurial venture was Garvy’s French Dining in November 2013, a fine dining restaurant in Ipoh.

At 25 years old, the executive director of BP Healthcare group founded Doctor2U in 2015. Bringing the business to the next level, the free mobile application aims to provide patients convenient one-stop access to quality health with services that range from doctor house calls, medication delivery, live chat, video consultation and an ambulance hailing feature. Utilising his experience as the group’s IT director, Beh plays a vital role in maintaining and furthering the family business as its second generation. In fact, when he came back for his school holidays one summer, it was he who introduced e-commerce to BP Healthcare, revamping its website to become the multi-million e-commerce platform it is today. Striving to strike while the iron is hot, with international borders opening again, he recently launched a state-of-the-art Covid-19 screening facility at KLIA.

The Beh family are known to be avid polo players, and even have their own polo team, the BP Polo Club. Garvy Beh had once told Tatler Malaysia in his 2019 interview that his father gauged how he and his siblings “would excel in their professions based on how they played polo”.
