For helping to crack Michelin’s glass ceiling

Last year Garima, the owner of award-winning Indian restaurant Gaa in Bangkok, became the first first Indian woman to win a Michelin star. Originally from Mumbai, she moved to Paris to pursue her passion at the Cordon Bleu culinary school, and then worked under Gordon Ramsay and at Copenhagen’s Noma and Bangkok’s Gaggan.
