Frederick D Go

President and CEO, Robinsons Land

The real estate whiz leads the way forward with technology and business strategies

When Frederick D Go joined Robinsons Land in 1992, the company had just five assets, three of which were eventually sold. Go, president and CEO of Robinsons Land now oversees a hefty portfolio which includes 54 shopping malls, 31 office buildings, 28 hotels and resorts, six industrial facilities and 19 mixed-use developments, to name a few. More will be added in the coming years, with several ongoing horizontal and vertical developments in the pipeline.

In September 2022, Go led Robinsons Land's entry into the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). It became the fourth Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) to be listed after a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) that raised about US$471 million—the largest real estate IPO in the country. With a total war chest, Go is ready for the future. His plans include adding more solar panels to its malls, building LEEDS Gold Certified office buildings, and creating cutting-edge structures and developments to add to Robinsons Land's impressive portfolio.

His latest development is the ambitious NUSTAR Resort & Casino in the heart of Cebu City. As the island’s first integrated resort development and ultra-luxury hotel outside Metro Manila, Robinsons Land aims to redefine luxury in accommodations, dining and leisure.

Go’s invaluable knowledge of the economy and astute business sense has him standing proudly as the presidential adviser on investment and economic affairs—handpicked by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. He also serves as the president and CEO of Universal Hotels and is the co-chairman of Resorts Luzon International Premier Airport Development.
