President Commissioner, Sekar Bumi
Finna Huang in 2017 took over the frozen-food division of her father’s consumer-goods company, Sekar Bumi. Her father, Harry Susilo, founded the company in 1966 to support his family after his father passed away, as the eldest of 12 children. The company has grown from one that trades in fish to a multi-national conglomerate that specialises in manufacturing speciality seafood and frozen foods.
Recently, Huang has also been involved in the healthcare sector. She founded Medicare Indonesia in 2003, and the Jakarta Women’s and Children’s Clinic (JWCC). JWCC provides high-quality medical care for women and children, filling a gap in the market based on her insight as a woman.
Huang graduated with honours from Babson College, USA, and obtained her MBA degree from Boston University, focusing on strategic management. Before joining Susilo’s business, she worked at Dell Computer Asia and Accenture Strategy Consulting.
